		<description>Great post and you bring up a lot of interesting points. I'm a little biased because my company is a wood veneer company, however here are a few reasons why veneer is better in certain cases:
1) More rare and exotic woods are available and less expensive in veneer form
2) Veneer gives more for the money because it can cover more surface area using less wood
3) Veneer is eco-friendly compared to solid lumber because so much less wood is used.

One tip from me that if you are not utilising furniture then it should be covered by plastic paper, as it prevents from dust and damages of furniture.
